Eyes of the Trail

Take a photo of the Trail or write up your Trail experience and submit it to for placement on our website or Facebook page. Credit will be given or anonymity kept as requested.

Become a Board member.

Since we are a new organization, Friends of the Brock Trail (FBTC) is looking for volunteer board members. Here is a short description of each position we would like to fill:

Chair: The Chair will preside at all meetings of the FBTC; will authorize special meetings, and will be an exofficio member of all committees.

Vice-Chair: The Vice-Chair will assume the duties of the Chair if temporarily absent; will participate in committees wherever directed by the Chair.

Secretary: The Secretary will record the minutes of the executive, general, and Annual meetings of the FBTC; will circulate the general and Annual minutes to the general membership by e-mail, or by "snail mail" when necessary, and to the designated representative of the City of Brockville; will keep a file of significant correspondence, incoming and outgoing, however it arrives or is sent.

Treasurer: The Treasurer will keep such records as necessary, of incoming and out going finances, and will present regular accounting statements to the membership; will also submit these records for examination by an auditor at least every two years, or upon request by the Executive.

Membership Director: The Membership Director will keep records of member's names, mailing address and phone numbers, and e-mail addresses if available. The Membership Director will also have the role of welcoming new members. 

Website Director: The Website Director is responsible for maintaining and updating the Friends of the Brock Trail website as necessary.
